Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up – 40/2013

SONY DSCWelcome to my Weekly Wrap Up. The wrap up consists of five different parts. The first part is called Dear Diary, where I’ll write a short description of my week. The second part, Me of the Week, will be a picture of me taken during this week. Third part, News of the Week is a smaller version of the Sunday News. Stumble of the Week, the fourth part, is something I’ve stumbled on in the Internet that I find interesting. In the last part, Gratitude of the Week, I’ll list all the things I’m grateful for this week.

Dear Diary

I think I’ve had an average week. Nothing too special has happened and life’s been just good. It’s calm before the storm, they say, and I agree. Next week will be a rough one at work. We’re having this mega-sale-happening called ‘Crazy Days’ from Wednesday through Sunday, which means tons of customers and tons of work in a busy environment.

We have these ‘Crazy Days’ twice a year and I enjoy working through them quite a lot although the week requires a lot of energy and by the end of the week I’ll be feeling half dead. At least I’ll be getting enough exercise for sure!

The US government has shut down.

This news is probably something everyone knows by now. I still thought I’d let you know in case you’ve been living in a cave for the past week. READ MORE!

Writer Tom Clancy has died.

The best-selling author has passed away in his hometown of Baltimore, at 66 years old. He died at the hospital after a brief illness just two month before the release of his newest novel, ‘Command Authority’. READ MORE!

A Simpsons character will die this season.

Hints has been given that the character who will die this season is voiced by an actor/actress who has won an Emmy for the role. This hint narrows the possibilities down, but there’s still plenty of choices on who it could be. READ MORE!

Stumble of the Week

I stumbled across a site called Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee and I got hooked. As you might already know, I like funny people and comedians are usually funny. I also sort of like watching entertaining car shows that features cool looking cars. I also like coffee! Well, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee mixes up all of these three things. What’s not to like!?

Gratitude of the Week

  • My health
  • I have a roof over my head

With warm hugs and gentle thuds – Inkeri
