Health Month – Motivational Internet #2

Health monthWe had a discussion with a co-worker at work the other day about exercising and how we both sort of dislike it, but still force ourselves to do it because we know it’s good for us. We both agreed that if we didn’t have our smart phones with the apps we use we would not exercise half as much as we do now.

We like to see all our routes we’ve walked or ran and the more there are the better, ergo, the more we exercise the more satisfied we feel.

I use the website mapmywalk.com and their app for my phone to keep me motivated. I can record all my walks and other exercises I do wit it and it tells me how fast I was and how many calories I used. If I ever want to I could also log all my meals with the app as well and maybe someday I will.
