Oscar Predictions

The Oscars is happening tonight! If you don’t know the nominees, you can check them out below and while you’re at it check my predictions for the winners.

This is the first time ever I’m making predictions on the Oscars. I’ve never given it a serious thought and never written any predictions down. I’m not saying I’m giving it a serious thinking now, but at least this time around I’ve seen a good part of the movies nominated.

Some warnings are in place for those who take these predictions way too seriously:
1. I have not seen all the movies nominated.
2. I’m not an expert on film industry. I had to consult my good friend google on what “production design” actually means.
3. Due to 1 and 2 some of the predicted winners are picked just because I like the country they were shot in, the name sounds funny or any other stupid reason.
4. I might leave a short explanation as to why I think the winner is who I think it is.
